g2x.cz acts as the Data Controller for your personal account information and contact inquiries. For backup services where you store data on our server, g2x.cz acts as the Data Processor under standard Data Processing Addendum (DPA) terms.

We collect only the minimum necessary data to provide web hosting and backup services:

  • Identity Data: Name, username, or alias.
  • Contact Data: Email address and billing details.
  • Technical Data: IP address, browser type, and server connection logs (stored for security and CSF/LFD audit purposes).
  • Processed Data: Files and databases uploaded for automated backup services (encrypted at rest).

3. Purpose of Processing

We process your data to:

  • Deliver web hosting, cloud VPS nodes, and automated backup vaults.
  • Communicate security alerts, maintenance warnings, or backup failure alerts.
  • Audit server connections to detect and prevent DDoS, hacking attempts, or login abuse.

4. Your GDPR Rights

Under GDPR guidelines, you hold the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right to Access: Request a copy of your personal data stored on our servers.
  • Right to Rectification: Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
  • Right to Erasure (Forget): Request deletion of your hosting/backup accounts.
  • Right to Portability: Obtain a structured, exportable backup of your data.

5. Data Retention & Security

Backup Isolation: All customer backups are isolated at filesystem levels and can be encrypted client-side using PGP or AES-256 before storage.

Retention: Security/firewall logs are retained for 30 days. Backup files are retained for the duration of your active subscription and deleted within 7 days of termination.

6. Cookies & Tracking

We do not run tracking cookies or third-party marketing scripts. We use only essential session cookies required for user authentication and security protection (CSRF tokens).
